TRESPASS is the result of the five years I spent listening, spending time, and building trust with Unhoused of Los Angeles.
This film is shaped by those exchanges and by the humanity that unfolded when space was made to truly see one another.
Using black-and-white photography, heartfelt narration, and a non-linear structure, TRESPASS unfolds quietly… like a poem
asking viewers not to look away, but also not to judge—to sit with stories that are rarely heard and lives too often reduced to labels.
At its core, TRESPASS reflects the resilience, creativity, and dignity of people navigating life on the margins,
while pointing toward the larger systems that make homelessness so pervasive in America.
This is not only a story about homelessness, loss, and disappointment...
It is a story about connection, resilience, and facing life’s challenges head-on …
a story of survival and our shared humanity.
